Actually UIDAI has added smart face authentication feature in Aadhaar card. With the help of which, your Aadhaar card will be identified by scanning your face only with the help of a smartphone.
Aadhaar Update authentication will be as easy as UPI
According to Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnav, Aadhaar authentication will be very easy. According to him, the way you do transactions with UPI, you will be able to verify Aadhaar in the same way. Just like a smartphone is needed to do UPI transactions, similarly a smartphone will be needed for Aadhaar authentication as well.
Personal details will remain safe
With UIDAI’s smart authentication feature, your personal information will not reach everyone. Rather, Aadhaar number can be verified by scanning your face with the help of a smartphone.
How will face authentication work
To use face authentication of Aadhaar card, you have to install NEW Aadhaar App in your smartphone. After this, you have to complete the steps asked to follow. After completing all these processes, you can verify Aadhaar by scanning anyone’s face. In this, the necessary information of the concerned person will appear on the screen of your smartphone, which you can verify. Let us tell you that the face authentication feature of Aadhaar card is currently available in beta testing version, common people may have to wait a bit to use it.
