Why will banks remain closed for the next three days?
Tomorrow i.e. 12th April is the second Saturday of this month. Due to this, all the private and government banks of the country will remain closed. Along with this, there is going to be a holiday in banks on 13th April as it is Sunday.
On the other hand, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti will be celebrated on 14th April. Apart from this, many states of South India like Kerala are celebrating Vishu, Tamil Nadu is celebrating New Year. Bihu festival will also be celebrated in Assam on 14 April.
Due to which all private and government banks are going to remain closed in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam on 14 April.
Apart from this, banks will remain open in New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Himachal Pradesh etc.
When will the banks be closed this month?
Just like Assam, Bihu New Year will be celebrated in Bengal on 15 April. This is the reason why banks are going to remain closed in West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh on this day.
On 21 April, banks will remain closed in Tripura on the occasion of Garia Puja. Along with this, there will be no work in the banks of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Parashuram Jayanti on 29 April.
On 30 April, on the day of Basava Jayanti, all private and government banks are going to remain closed in Karnataka.
