Bank Holidays Next Week: If you are thinking of settling any bank related work next week, then first you should know about the holidays that are going to fall next week. These include the second Saturday falling next week. It is worth noting that banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Whereas banks are open on the first and third Saturdays. Apart from the second Saturday and Sunday, there will be two more such occasions next week when there will be no work in the banks.

Banks will remain closed on May 7

There are panchayat elections in Assam on May 7. Therefore, banks will remain closed in Guwahati. But banks across the rest of the country will remain open on that day.

What will be the holiday on May 9

On May 9, banks will remain closed in Bengal for the birth anniversary of Nobel Prize winner Rabindranath Tagore. But on that day also banks will remain open in other states except West Bengal. After this, there is a weekend on May 10-11 (second Saturday and Sunday). Banks across India will remain closed on both these days.

Holiday on 12 May too

On 12 May (Monday) on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, banks will remain closed across India. Apart from Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Itanagar, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar, all banks will remain closed in other states as well.

These services will remain available

On the days when banks are closed, you can withdraw your money through banking app, net banking and ATM. All these facilities are available despite public holidays. But if you have any work related to bank branch, then you will not be able to do it on the holiday.
