Why the hurry to make the map live
Actually, the company has not hurried, it has delayed making the map live. According to reports, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India had given an order. In it, all telecom companies were asked to release their map, which gives information about their coverage in each area. All companies except BSNL had released their maps and its last date was fixed as 31 March. Now BSNL’s map has also gone live.
What will people benefit from the map
Many people want to switch to BSNL, because the recharge plans of the government company are cheaper than Jio, Airtel and Vi. The release of the new map will help people to know which BSNL network is working in their area. Currently, information about 2G, 3G and 4G coverage area can be obtained in the map.
Company working on 5G network
BSNL can start its 5G network this year. It is being said that it can start by June. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also given positive signals regarding this. If the rollout of BSNL 5G is done fast, then it will give a tough challenge to private telecom operators, because the company offers cheap recharge plans.
