French car manufacturing company Citroën India has introduced its popular hatchback with a CNG variant. The company has introduced the Citroën C3 with CNG retrofitment. Now people looking for CNG have got another option in the Indian market. Citroën has 3-4 cars in its portfolio, in which the company has introduced a hatchback with a CNG variant. C3 CNG will be available at all the dealerships of the company with a certified retrofitment program.

This car claims a mileage of 28.1 km/kg. The car comes with a factory fitted CNG kit. This car takes a running cost of Rs 2.66 per kilometer. Seamless integration has been given in the car. It has a 1.2 liter engine.

The car gets a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km. This is a vehicle warranty and CNG components are also given. CNG has been fitted in the car in such a way that there is no difference in the boot space. Apart from this, spare wheels can be removed easily.

How much price will have to be paid?

The company has informed that Rs 93000 will have to be paid for this car i.e. a separate CNG kit. Talking about other specifications, the rear shock absorber in the car has been tuned. Suspension springs have been reinforced. These CNG retrofitment kits can be purchased from any authorized dealership.

Every car will first undergo a pre-delivery inspection. This includes cylinder integrity, leak detection, pressure regulation and seamless fuel switching. So that there is no compromise on the safety and emission norms of the car.
