Heavy Rain Alert: Many states of the country are going to receive heavy rains along with hailstorms but before that know in which places there is a heatwave alert.

A warning has been issued for strong winds and rain at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph along with thunderstorms in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands on April 6. Along with this, rain may also come with strong winds in Northeast India till April 9 and in Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand from April 7 to April 9.
The Meteorological Department of India has also alerted about hailstorms in Assam and Meghalaya on April 6 and in Bihar on April 8. A new Western Disturbance may come in the Western Himalayan region from April 8, 2025.
Due to this, a warning (Weather update latest news) has been issued for strong winds and rain at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour along with lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from April 8 to April 11.
Apart from this, the Meteorological Department (IMD Alert) has said in its press release that hailstorms may occur in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on April 9, so there is a need to be cautious (Weather latest news).
