According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunder, lightning and strong winds in Kerala and Mahe for the next 5 days. Winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. Light to moderate rain may occur during this period.

According to the Meteorological Department, thunder, lightning and strong winds may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Telangana, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yemen, Rayalaseema for the next 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave conditions may occur at different places in Rajasthan on 14 and 15 April and severe heat wave conditions during 16-17 April. Heat wave is likely in different parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh during 16 and 18 April.
