There was a change in the weather in the last few days. First there was a strong storm and then it rained. It also rained on Monday in other states including Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand.

According to the Meteorological Department, now in the coming days, there is a possibility of change in the weather of these states again and people may have to face severe heat and heat wave again. At the same time, there is a possibility of heatwave in Gujarat and Rajasthan. There is a strong possibility of another Western Disturbance becoming active in the hilly states of the country from April 16. Also, favorable conditions are being created for cyclone in the Bay of Bengal. The weather has changed in the eastern part of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh for the last few days.

First there was a strong storm and after that the rain started. In Bihar, there is a period of moderate rain at some places and drizzle at other places. Unseasonal rain and hailstorm have caused extensive damage to mango and litchi crops. Apart from this, the wheat and maize crops standing in the fields have also been hit by the weather. Common people got relief from the scorching heat but the farmers have had to pay the price for this change in weather. Meteorologists have now expressed the possibility of improvement in the weather. Along with this, the mercury will also rise. At the same time, it has also rained in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. The effect of the change in weather is clearly visible in Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and the Northeast.

Possibility of Western Disturbance becoming active

According to the Skymet Weather report, a new Western Disturbance is going to become active in the hilly states of North India from April 16. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain, thunder and snowfall in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. It can have a wide impact on the weather of Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, sporadic activity will be seen in Uttarakhand. Hailstorms can also occur in the lower hilly areas including the Jammu region. Western disturbances will be active on 16 and 17 April, due to which sporadic rains are expected in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a possibility of a sharp increase in both speed and intensity between 18 and 20 April. Weather activity will be strong on 19 April and then it will gradually calm down from 21 April.

Effect of cyclonic weather

Along with the western disturbance, an induced cyclonic circulation is also likely to become active in the plains, but its effect will not be very widespread. Rain is forecast only in the Terai areas, that too for a day or two. However, its effect may be more in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of minor impact in Uttarakhand; the weather is forecast to remain very bad in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh from 18 to 20 April. During this time, incidents like landslides, hailstorms and falling of stones can occur. In view of the weekend, tourists and trekkers have been advised to take special precautions so that no untoward incident happens. Skymet Weather has issued an advisory regarding this and people have been appealed that it would be better if they stay at home. On the other hand, it has been said that favorable conditions for cyclone have been created in the Bay of Bengal.
