The central government launched a new Aadhaar app on Tuesday. Through this, users will not need to keep any physical card or photo copy to verify their Aadhaar related information.
This information was given by Union Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. In this regard, the Union Minister has also released a video on the social media platform X.
This video shows how face ID authentication is done through this app and data can be shared safely with the consent of the user.
It is 100 percent digital and secure. However, this app is currently in beta testing phase, which is working to make Aadhaar verification even better. This will not only increase the security of the users but will also prevent misuse of Aadhaar.
Features of the new Aadhaar app
- In this, users can now share only the necessary information according to their wish, so that their personal information can be kept safe.
- Just like QR code is scanned in UPI payment, Aadhaar verification will now be equally simple.
