PM Kisan Yojana: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) helps the farmers of the country financially. Every year Rs 6000 is transferred by the Government of India to the bank accounts of farmers. Recently, on 24 February 2025, more than 22,000 crores were transferred to the bank accounts of more than 9.8 crore farmers as the 19th installment of the scheme. But if your installment has not come yet, then there is no need to panic. There may be some reasons behind this. Let us know about them.
These may be the reasons behind not getting the installment
- Problem of e-KYC
It is necessary to get e-KYC done to avail the benefits of the scheme. If you have not done e-KYC yet or your information is wrong, then the installment is stopped.
- Aadhar not linked to bank account
If the bank account is not linked to Aadhaar, then the transaction may fail.
- DBT facility closed
If the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) service is not active in your bank account, then the money will not be transferred.
- Incomplete land verification
In many states, land verification has now been made mandatory for eligibility. Without this, the installment may be stopped.
- Details not updated
Changing the bank or Aadhaar information and not updating it is also a big reason.
