The IMD said that the mood of the weather will change completely in many areas in the coming 24 hours. In many states of North India, the Meteorological Department has also predicted a change in the weather within the next 24 hours. According to the IMD, a western disturbance has become active. Its effect can be seen till April 12, due to which there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of North India.

Heat wave alert in many states of North India

The Meteorological Department has said that the outbreak of heat wave is visible in many states of North India including Delhi. There is a heat wave situation in many areas. Regarding heat wave, IMD scientist Dr. Naresh Kumar said, “Heat wave has been going on in Gujarat for about a week, IMD had issued a red alert regarding this. He said that heat wave alert has been issued in many areas of North-West India even today. He told that in the coming two days, the effect of heat wave will increase in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh. Heat wave will also prevail in many areas of Rajasthan. However, there may be a sudden change in the weather in the coming 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may suddenly take a U-turn in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi.

Effect of western disturbance will be seen

The Meteorological Department estimates that a new western disturbance is becoming active. It can become fully active by April 10. Due to this, there is a possibility of cloudy rain in many states of North India and North Eastern India. Due to western disturbance, there is a possibility of cloud cover, thunderstorm and light rain in many districts of western and northern Rajasthan. Apart from this, its effect can also be seen in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh.

Weather across the country System

A low pressure area remains over the west-central and south-west Bay of Bengal. In the next few hours, it will move towards the west-central Bay of Bengal. After this, this low pressure area may turn towards north-northeast. In the coming 24 hours, it may gradually weaken over the central Bay of Bengal. Apart from this, a turf line is formed from South Tamil Nadu and South-East Madhya Pradesh to East Gangetic West Bengal. Due to the effect of these systems, strong winds can blow along with rain in many areas.

In which states will it rain

According to the Meteorological Department, during April 9 to 11, rain, lightning and strong winds can occur in eastern and northeastern India including Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, Karnataka and Central India.

According to the IMD, winds can also blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph in these areas. Light to heavy rain is expected in many areas.

Light rain and hailstorm is likely over East Madhya Pradesh on 9th April and over Jharkhand on 10th April.

Rain is likely over Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh on 10th April. After this, heavy rain is likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 10th to 11th April, and over Assam and Meghalaya on 9th to 11th April.
