Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme Eligibility in Tamilnadu
Tamil Nadu Social Welfare and Women Rights Department is going to launch ‘Tamil Puthalvan’ project. Through this, students who studied from 6th to +2 in government schools, as well as students who studied in Tamil medium in government aided schools, to pursue their undergraduate arts, science, professional courses, paramedical, diploma, ITI, undergraduate, postgraduate combined courses will get Rs. 1,000 scholarship scheme to be implemented by Tamil Nadu Government. Students pursuing integrated courses can avail incentives under the scheme for the first three years only. In other states, IITs and NITs are functioning under the central government. It has been informed that students who have studied in such institutes and studied in Tamil medium can also apply.
