In the Indian market, the ex-showroom price of Tata Punch EV starts at Rs 9 lakh 99 thousand and for the top model this price goes up to Rs 14.44 lakh. Tata Motors’ Punch EV uses a 25 kWh capacity lithium ion battery pack for power. The company claims that this battery pack can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in 3.6 hours with an AC charger and from 10 to 80 percent in 56 minutes with a DC fast charger.
Tata Motors says that on a full charge, the Punch EV can provide a driving range of 315 km. The higher variant has a 35 kWh battery pack, which can run up to 421 km in a single charge. According to the company, it takes 9.5 seconds for the Punch EV to reach a speed of 0 to 100 kmph. The running cost of Tata Punch EV is very economical. The company claims that its cost per kilometer is less than Rs 1.
