Its ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 2.94 lakh. This new variant, which is Rs 27,000 more expensive than the standard model, also gets you cross-spoke wheels, some extra accessories and three new color options.

From a mechanical point of view, the Scrambler 400 XC is similar to its standard version i.e. 400 X. It has the same 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Also, its chassis and suspension setup are also the same.

The upright riding position and wide bars combine with a seat height of 835mm for superior visibility, confidence and control. But what makes this new variant special are its new cross-spoke wheels, which also support tubeless tires, while its standard model comes with alloy wheels. Apart from this, the XC variant now also gets a new aluminium sump guard and engine guard, which gives the bike better standard protection.

It gets the same grab rails as the Triumph Speed 400 and also gets body-coloured high-mounted front fender and body-coloured flyscreen. The Scrambler 400 XC available in India will still come with MRF Zapper Kurve tyres. Priced at Rs 2.94 lakh, it is Rs 27,000 more expensive than the Scrambler 400 X (₹2.67 lakh).
The Scrambler 400 XC now falls in the category of bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure X and you will soon see it being sold alongside Triumph’s other models (400 X and Speed 400).
