Norton V4 Superbike Launch In India: TVS Motor Company is soon going to launch premium brand Norton’s superbikes in the Indian market. Norton is a British brand, which was bought by TVS in 2020. Indian company TVS now wants to restart this brand and spread it around the world. Norton’s V4 model attracted a lot of visitors in the TVS pavilion at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025 and now this superbike is ready to launch on Indian roads.
1200 cc superbike
According to the report of Rishad Modi published in Autocar Professionals, a TVS spokesperson has said that the company is making a 1200 cc 4-cylinder motorcycle for the Indian market. Two bikes of the Norton brand can come by the end of this year 2025, including a flagship bike. Interestingly, TVS will create a separate sales channel for Norton brand products. TVS will keep its Norton brand based on 3 philosophies like ‘design, dynamism and detail’.
These two bikes can come first
No exact information has been given about which Norton superbike TVS will bring in the coming time, but it is believed that the Norton V4 SV model can come, which is fully faired. Along with this, Norton V4 CR can also be launched. Both these superbikes have been seen in Auto Expo this year. They have a 1200 cc V4 engine, which generates 185 horsepower at 12,000 rpm and 125 Newton meter peak torque at 9,000 rpm. These superbikes have high-end aluminum chassis and swingarm as well as high spec Ohlins and Brembo cycle parts.
Premium motorcycles worth lakhs of rupees
The expensive models of TVS’s Norton brand like V4 SV and V4CR can cost from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. After this, in the coming time, TVS and Norton can jointly introduce new bikes of 300-500cc in India. Also, these Made in India bikes can be exported to other countries as well. These new bikes can be launched in India by 2028. TVS aims to establish Norton as a premium brand in India. TVS can manufacture Norton bikes in its Hosur plant.
