True ID V Card: Step-by-Step Process
- For this, first open the DigiLocker app or website. Website link- https://www.digilocker.gov.in Otherwise download the DigiLocker app on your mobile.
- If you already have an account, login. If you do not have an account, create a new account. You can login with mobile number or Aadhaar number.
- Do KYC with Aadhaar. Verify your Aadhaar through OTP. This will link your identity to the government database.
- Go to the True ID V Card section. Select the option of TrueID or True ID V Card by going to the menu of DigiLocker.
- You will find your name, date of birth, photo, address etc. already filled, as it is linked to Aadhaar. Now click on the option of Generate True ID V Card.
- Your card will be made in a few seconds. You can download this card or share it wherever verification is required through link or QR code.
