The main and well-known scheme of State Bank of India, which is the country’s largest public sector bank, is the Amrit Kalash FD Scheme. Under this scheme, the bank is offering 400 days FD interest rate benefit to its customers. Now big news has come regarding this project.

SBI has again decided to extend the period of this scheme which was ending on 31 March 2024. Keeping in mind the popularity of the scheme, the bank has taken this decision.

For how long can you invest in the scheme?

State Bank of India has extended the validity of Amrit Kalash Yojana till 30 September 2024. The bank has started this scheme on 12 April 2023. SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana is a 400 days FD scheme, in which common citizens are getting 7.10 per cent interest rate on investment. Senior citizens are getting the benefit of additional 0.50% interest rate on the amount deposited under this scheme. In such a situation, he is getting 7.60 percent interest profit in 400 days FD scheme. Under this scheme you can deposit an amount up to Rs 2 crore.

SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana scheme with huge income was initially supposed to end on 23rd June 2023, then it was extended till 31st December 2023. Later it was extended till 31 March 2024. Now the bank has once again extended the validity of this special FD scheme till 30 September 2024.

How to open an account?

To invest in SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana, you can visit any branch of SBI. To open this account, you need to have Aadhaar card, mobile number, PAN card, passport size photograph, email ID. Go to the bank and fill the form and your SBI Amrit Kalash account will be opened. Under this scheme, interest will be credited to your account after TDS is deducted.
