According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance is creating air pressure in the middle troposphere. It is affecting the entire state. The adequate amount of moisture it is getting from the Arabian Sea is increasing its strength. Earlier it was expected to affect Lucknow and surrounding districts on 11th to 12th. Since the wind direction is changing frequently, it is now believed that this impact will occur between Sunday and Monday.
On Friday afternoon, dark clouds covered the sky. Strong gusts of wind started blowing in the evening. Meanwhile, drizzle occurred at some places towards Kanpur Road. Due to increase in moisture in the air, there was a slight drop in the maximum temperature. It was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the minimum temperature went up by 2.3 degrees. It was recorded at 22.9 degrees Celsius.
