First of all you have to go to the official site of UTIITSL. By going there and following the process given below step by step, your PAN card will be updated. This method of changing the name or correcting the mistake in PAN card is very easy.

Update PAN card like this

1. First of all go to the official site @www.pan.utiitsl.com, now click on PAN Card Services visible on the homepage.
2. After this click on Change/Correction in Pan Card option.
3. Now select the Change/Correction in PAN Card Details option.
4. As soon as you click on this option, the page of Application for Change/Correction in PAN Data option will open in front of you.
5. Now 2 options will appear here, one physical, in this you will have to forward the application along with physical documents.
6. The second option is digital (Forward Application with Digital Documents) i.e. paperless, choose any one of these options.
7. Aadhaar based e-KYC option will appear in the first box just below this. As soon as you select this, the website will automatically select the next option Sign Using Aadhaar based eSign.
8. Here you have to fill PAN CARD NUMBER, also choose physical PAN card and e-PAN or only e-PAN mode, now submit.
9. Whatever details will be asked from you in the application form, fill it completely and make the payment.
10. For e-KYC service, Aadhaar authentication will be done in real-time from UIDAI server and OTP will be sent to your mobile.
11. After entering the OTP, the address will be added to your PAN card from the UIDAI database.
12. Now verify the application data and other information and submit.
13. After this, another OTP will be received for eSign, as soon as it is entered, the application will have to be signed through Aadhaar based e-signature.
14. After this process done by you, your application will be saved and further processing will be done by UTIITSL.
